Farahnaz Hoque

Hi! I am Farahnaz, and I am a software engineer (for now). I studied computer science at UC Irvine, specializing in intelligent systems with a minor in health informatics.

I am a founding engineer and product manager at CherryPitch, where we analyze startup pitch decks and match founders with investors according to various markers we observe from their decks and requirements. At Conic I am the solutions consultant and engineer on enterprise and civic engagements, helping them build a tool for aiding consultants to build logic models.

I grew up in a developing country, and it shaped what I want from my work. I use what I know to give back to the communities I am part of in any way I can.

I hold one rule from my time as a teaching assistant. If I cannot explain where something is breaking, I do not understand it yet.
